And thus begins another cringe-inducing email forwarding the latest YouTube viral video directly to your inbox.
Like me, I know you’ll be shocked to learn that the video features … wait for it … a baby!
Advertisers, web surfers and serial submitters to America’s Funniest Home Videos all rely on the cute factor associated with babies to attract viewers.
This week’s video of the moment features a 20-month-old New Zealand baby “dancing” to Beyonce’s hit, Single Ladies. And, in case you don’t already have 14 links to this in your Gmail account here it is:

Isn’t that just the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen?!
I mean along with all the 43 thousand other pictures and home videos of babies you’ve seen in your lifetime.
Personally, I think the cutest part of the whole video was that Kanye West didn’t pop up in the middle of the clip.
What with the Evian rollerskating babies and the E-Trade babies, there’s a virtual advertising fertility explosion going on these days. Babies are more prevalent in commercials and on the web than ever before.
The next step will be for advertisers look to leverage the popularity of babies by combining babies with another hot cultural trend.
I’m just having a hard time envisioning what product you can pitch with baby vampires…
