He puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch Craig Littlepage thought of something he hadn’t before!
Maybe Christmas school spirt, he thought, doesn’t come from a store.
Maybe Christmas a banner… perhaps… means a little bit more!
And what happened then?
Well, in Whoville Virginia they say
That the Grinch’s Craig Littlepage’s small heart grew three sizes that day.
And then the true meaning of Christmas school spirit came through
and the Grinch team found the strength for ten Grinches touchdowns plus two.
Whether the abolishment of the banner ban in Virginia will really help them turn around this losing season and win today over Maryland is doubtful (and 12 touchdowns? I don’t think so!), but I will say this – without the support of your school, what is the point?
