Yes, Anne, virtual book tours, or blog tours, have become very popular. I've hosted a few at my author blog (www.maryemmallen.blogspot.com), including the one I mention of Dorothy. The most recent was author, Joyce Anthony, on Apr. 30. Another is scheduled there for May 23. They're really fun to host. Generally the host interviews the author by asking up to 5 questions, and the author responds via e-mail. One time the author send me an article she'd written on a particular topic.
