Who are we supposed to believe? Too bad Windows isn't open-source, I'd check the code myself and tell you who's lying. Since it's not, we have to TRUST Microsoft has our best interests at heart. I HOPE they're telling the truth and the British Home Office is lying in order to.... I dunno, why would they lie about this? Very unpleasant possibility. And sadly, it's very possible that it's true. We can't verify it ourselves without the source code.
