Vista on Asus Eee PC

If you are looking around for an Ultra Mobile PC, the cheapest in the market right now is Asus Eee PC. I would have bought it without second thought had it run Windows Vista. The hardware comes with Linux as the operating system but you should be able to load Windows XP in it. Load it with Windows Vista instead? I doubt it, but Paul O’Brien was able to do it with and used vLite to strip Vista of features. It doesn’t seem slow; but I still wouldn’t want to buy it especially when you would not have the luxury to install additional softwares in it.
