Vista creates an assurance for business thats it... In two (2) days I have tried to install software and hardware which will not run on the newer PC's. So, If you buy that upgraded PC you will have to upgrade the other hardware as well... I like the look and most software will install on Vista, however; the actual performanced is not there. they will only act as though they are working properly while never completing the task. The AMD 64 dual processor also, took a hit and now runs slower, perhaps, MS is wanting to improve on intels performance. Those testing intel/vista installs can comment here... Linux is looking good as far as security and performance, how come MS didn't take the time to evaluate the performance of all the wares both hard and soft... Good luck to those who hold out for the final outcome...you will need it... I can see that this site is not mutual/convent.
