Vista Tip: Command Window

April 14, 2007 by Kiven

“If you use the command window regularly, you’ll be happy to know that you can access it from any Vista folder. Open Windows Explorer, find the folder you want, and Shift-right-click on the folder’s name. Open Command Window Here is near the top of the list. Incidentally, some command-line utilities such as BCDEdit run only in administrator mode. For admin mode, hold down Shift while opening the command window.”
