Lanny Wadkins, with 21 PGA career victories, was elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame this week. The 59-year-old, native Virginian now plays on the Champions Tour. He is best known for his 1977 win at the PGA Championship in Pebble Beach.

In addition to his PGA wins, Wadkins was a member of eight Ryder Cup teams, a number that ties the record. He helps Team USA win in seven of those contests.
Wadkins will be inducted on November 2, 2009 during a ceremony at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.
