Wal-Mart interior green marketingI’m not necessarily a big Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) fan (although I shop there a lot, you just can’t beat the prices or convenience), but I have to give the company props for trying to make some eco-friendly changes.

Most recently, Wal-Mart introduced its most energy efficient U.S. retail store yet, which is expected to save up to 45% more energy then a typical Wal-Mart store. The new store is called the HE.5 prototype, and it’s located in Las Vegas.

Wal-Mart is doing a good job of trying to associate its brand with green business. Let’s hope this continues.
