Warner’s 2008/2009 Release Plans for Blu-Ray

Warner has wasted no time announcing their plans for their 2008-2009 release calendar, including new films, classic films, and also some previously HD-DVD exclusive movies. 
Scheduled for Q2 2008 is “Dirty Harry: Ultimate Collection,” for Q3 2008 is the “Batman Anthology,” for Q4 2008 is “A Christmas Story: Ultimate Collector’s Edition,” and a few more in each quarter.
Some recent movie releases that will be released sometime in either 2008 or 2009 includes “10,000 B.C.,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” and “Speed Racer,” while some classics include “Casablanca,” “The Matrix Trilogy,” “Gone with the Wind,” and “The Wizard of Oz.” There are more titles listed on High Def Digest, and Warner points out that this is not it’s entire schedule, just a portion of it.
