Watch Videos On Your Wrist-Watch

2 gb Home Theater watch. When I was a kid and they came out with the calculator watches, we thought that was the coolest thing. Then came watches that transformed from a watch in to a toy robot and that we thought that was pretty damn cool too. These days it’s not much of a surprise that electronics devices are getting smaller and smaller. Now you can watch videos on your watch.

TA457 Home Theater Watch
The TA457 Home Theater Watch has 2 Gb of memory and plugs in to your pc or Mac. It comes with software to convert your videos to the NXV format and comes with headphones to listen while you watch. The watch will run for 4 hours in video mode and 7 with just audio. It charges off of the USB as most devices like this do and takes about an hour and a half to charge. You can also use this as a Dictaphone as there is a small microphone in the side of it.
The downsides? •This watch is NOT waterproof, so you can’t watch movies while in the hot tub, sauna etc. •Functioning as a watch alone, the battery lasts only about two days.• It only uses a micro USB cable (not a big deal)• Compatible with mac, but the conversion software is only for PC.• Plug and play compatible with Windows 2000 and XP, doesn’t say whether it’s compatible with Vista.
If you want to impress the ladies you could make your own video with a friend. Say, “Excuse me, I have to take this.”, plug an earphone in to it and play the video while talking back to the watch and making it look as if you’re engaging in a conversation on your wrist watch like your James Bond. You might have to rent a luxury sports car though in case she wants to leave with you. You can’t have a high-tech watch and drive a Ford Fiesta, now can you?
So how much will this baby run you? $149.99 at Gadget Universe, where you can also get a lot more specs and information on the TA457 Home Theater Watch.
