Wearing Of Flag Pins On Lapels Fuels Political Debate

Many Question Whether Anyone In Media Would Know A Real Issue If It Bit Them In The O’Reilly

As the political season drags on, candidates continue to face questions about whether they can be considered patriotic if they don’t wear a flag pin on their lapel.

Questions have also been raised about whether reporters can be considered idiotic if they don’t stop asking about such a ridiculous topic.

As it stands, the average citizen is already inundated with bracelets, ribbons, pins and bumper stickers for “awareness” on every topic from tree frogs to fibromyalgia.

Here at Bizlevity we’ve declared June to be “Awareness Awareness Month.”

Basically, we want to make sure everyone is aware that there are so many things to be aware of.

Working together, we can help raise awareness to the point where people are unable to function in their regular job because they’re spending so much time being aware of things that we need to focus on right now.

At that point, we’ll need to raise awareness of the need for somebody to do some actual work.

In the meantime, can we please lay off the candidates for not wearing flag pins, pink ribbons, yellow bracelets or rainbow socks?

If the acid test of who should be the next President rests on how many different totems a candidate can wear, this country’s in big trouble.

Because that means our next President is going to be an Indy race car.

  1. [...] BizLevity, they poke fun at business and — at least, today — politics. Today’s target is those flag pins that every politician seems to have gotten glued to their lapels. Personally, I’m all in [...]
