Urijah Faber vs Mike Brown
Round 1 starts out with both fighter coming on strong. Throwing knees, throwing punches. Urijah Faber tried to throw a wild elbow and Mike Brown catches Faber on on the right side of his jaw and completely stuns Faber and he falls to his back. Mike Brown jumps on Faber to mount while Faber rolls over to his knees to avoid punches and defend himself while Mike Brown continues to throw hammer fists to the side of the head and up underneath connecting hard. The ref stops the fight.
Mike Brown wins the WEC Featherweight Championship 2:23 of the first round by TKO by ref stoppage from strikes!!!
Post fight Faber said "I’ll be back for that belt" and congratulated Mike Brown. Mike Brown left the ring looking like he was in pain with a possible rib injury.
Holy crap…Urijah Faber has been beaten by Mike Brown in his WEC debut!
