WeGame: YouTube for Gamers

Now that YouTube no longer offers a “games and gadgets” category, someone has to meet the needs of gamers inside online video. Enter WeGame, a video-sharing site for gamers that offers an all-in-one recorder/converter/uploader app for in-game footage.

Sure, gamers already have Fraps for recording, but the convenience of a streamlined all-in-one screencast app could prove handy. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if YouTube developed or acquired a screencast app of their own, and not just for games. Mark Hendrickson posts a great review of WeGame here.
