Weider Fitness PowerBell. I’ve put off buying a kettlebell for awhile now because I just can’t seem to find one that I really like. Either the weight just doesn’t feel like it’s enough or I can’t find the right size that I like in stores.

When I caught the TV spot for the Weider Fitness Powerbell I got all excited. First I thought that it would be a great feature for Every Joe Fitness and I thought this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. I’m not sure if there are other adjustable weight kettle bells on the market but this is the first time I saw one.
The Weider PowerBell comes in two different variants, a 20 lb max and 40 lb max weight, each with six weights to add or remove depending on your preferences. The 20 lb PowerBell features a 5 lb handle with 6 2.5lb weights. The 40lb PowerBell has a 10 lb handle and 5 5lb weights. Both PowerBells come with a workout DVD featuring Michael Skogg, a former U.S. Special Forces member and a professional kettlebell trainer. The PowerBell also comes with a guide to healthy eating and a fitness journal. What it doesn’t come with is ambition, you’ll have to provide that yourself.

The 40lb PowerBell will run you $249.95 while the 20lb PowerBell goes for $119.95. Now before you think about the price, think about the money you would spend on 7 kettlebells, and the space you’ll save by have this all-in-one Power Kettle. I’ll be writing up a review of the Weider PowerBell in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.
For more information on the Weider Fitness PowerBell visit Getpowerbell.com and check out the TV Spot.

I like that figure 8 move they show.
I’ve been using kettlestack adjustable kettlebells for over two years now.
I don’t know how to add pictures but kettlestack.com shows how they’re assembled.
Best,
Bill
Yeah, the kettlestack does look pretty cool, yet slightly tedious if you want to switch up the weight quickly.
A bit, but you should ask them about that.
I just got mine in the mail and the video doesn’t show the moves on the commercial. It’s some guy and lady in their living room…I’m actually pretty upset about it; now I’m digging online to find a good workout! You’d think for all that much money the workout they advertise would come with it!
I’ve yet to see the review Powerbell I was offered. The video is kind of misleading I suppose. I would expect it to be something like the commercial as well. Check Bodybuilding .com for different workouts and exercises. If any place has some, that should be a good place to start.
checkout crossfit.com on the left side of the page go to the exercise demos. there are videos of individual exercises as well as complete workouts.
Not sure if you got the DVD yet or not; same thing happened to me, after calling Weider three times they finally mailed me the correct DVD.
The Weider powerbell is a great idea… but too expensive with not enough weight. $250 would be reasonable for 2 handles with max weights up to 75lbs (included). I have other Weider products (rack, free weights, bench, and Crossbow) and these go against what I believe to be their mantra; great value.
ps. For excercise videos check out crossfit.com
I was very interested in the powerbell switch but the reviews about the DVD are troubling. For the 200plus dollars you I would be spending,I would expect a really great DVD workout.
You can find them for about 20 bucks cheaper at wal-mart online. plus if you chose the site to store option they won’t change for shipping either. you just have to pick it up yourself at walmart. It’s a great idea and very simple to adjust the weights
Would like to put a weider product through a bonified workout. I don’t see the real need for an “up to” 40lb adj. when a crushing 40 min session needs 44-63 lbs. You will find the beginers go light and Quickly excel to heavier and useful weights. Kettlebells rock, get what makes you sweat and work don’t buy into the advertizing.
I bought the 20lb. adjustable kettlebell from Weider. It came with a DVD that’s really crapola. It was defective and the company gave me the royal run around regarding replacing the DVD. For the money I paid for the kettlebell, you’d think they’d give you a DVD that works.
If you have any complaints about the video you should write directly to Weider about it and include the link to you reviews here. Let them see how it hurts them to be misleading in the video they provide. It’s reviews like these that cost them sales.

Angela,
My name is Jesse with Weider Fitness, we manufacture the Power Bell. There were some issues with dvd’s arriving damaged or not playing. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes people. All you need to do is call us, the number is on the box and we send out a new copy to you in the mail. There are also 2 DVD’s that are available. The Michael Skoggs and Christy, one of our certified personal trainers. The power bell gives me one of the best all around workouts ever. Forget the gym and treadmill when you use it.

I bought the Weider kettle bell 20# and was happy with it until this point. It developed a fracture where the horn screws into the plastic structure. It appears at some point that it will break and all the metal plates may fly across the room. Great idea as far as changing weights to fit your work out but I am convinced that there is a reason to have individual kettle bells now. There a lot more durable being that their just a hunk of metal without moving parts, screws, and made of plastic.
I have a 20lbs bell and there are 2 videos, the one that is shown on TV with Michael Skoggs and one by a girl Christy. I called the weider and they said they were having issues the Michale Skoggs DVD so they sent out the other one in the meantime. All you have to do is call them, the number should be on the box and they will send you a Michael Skoggs DVD. Its awesome!
Darwin,
Please let me know your physical address via email and I will get a new kettle bell sent out to you.
Thanks
