Weird Firefox Issues

Okay everyone. I know this is a Microsoft blog, but I’ve jumped back to Firefox for a bit to test some things out since IE7 has been giving me some weird issues lately.
I go to fire up Firefox this evening though and my screen is looking weird. There’s a huge blank space of gray at the bottom of the screen right below the status bar. It reminds me of when you resize your task bar in Windows, but I can’t resize this at all.
If you’ll notice the screen shot, there’s also a weird yellow bracket on the far left side of the gray space.
I also just noticed that there’s a Flash loading animation in the top-right corner as shown below.

What do you think? Any ideas? Should I unload all my extensions and see if that fixes it? Has anyone else seen this before?
Let me know if you’ve got a fix.

i don’t know anything about that thick grey bar, but what’s wrong with that loading circle thing? it’s always been there, equivalent to the animated ie-logo/earth thing in internet explorer
You’re right, the little graphic in the right corner is the animation for the page loading. The problem is it never stopped. I started disabling extensions and it turns out it was a half-corrupted install of CoComment. Once I uninstalled it and reinstalled everything loaded as expected and I’m back to normal.
Hi all,
It happened to my Firefox too this morning.
It is solved after I disabled the Google Photo Screensaver 2.0 extension. Go to Tools/Add-ons, select Google Photo Screensaver 2.0 then click the button Disable.
