Welcome to Boulder Bad Astronomer
Well, it’s official. The Bad Astronomer is now a Boulderite.
Welcome and enjoy the views. Don’t forget, now you’re obligated to buy a bike, a Prius and you now have to drink Boulder Beer (which is a very good thing).
One of the best things about living in Colorado is you have plenty of choices of quality micro-brews.
Anyway, just wanted to say welcome to you and yours, and may you find nothing but happiness and contentment here. You’ve already improved the neighborhood quite a bit.
Boulder has been very good to me, I’ve lived here since 1977 and have loved every minute.
But then you already know how great Boulder is, that’s why you chose to come here.
Ummm, can I borrow your lawn mower? Thanks man, I’ll get it right back, I promise.

Heh. Thanks! But… I have a Volvo, which is kinda crunchy-granola; I already have a bike (which I will use when I am not chained to my Mac); and I don’t drink beer. :-)
I was in Boulder a couple years ago, I have family there…and let me tell you, I think Tony is on to something about the beer there. It was quite tasty :) Boulder has been called the “micro brew mecca” of the world.
My wife drives a Prius.
I would ride a bike if I lived in Boulder…
I love Beer.
