b5media doesn’t deserve $2 Million

Seems to me b5 has done a bit better than you imagined Nick :)

Might have been a thought to have quoted the positives rather than what you did quote in the VC’s article. This might have worked;

“I believe that the markets and the focus of b5’s increasing blogger ranks will continue to grow their respective authority and thus increase the networks value.

There are opportunities for new authorities on topics of all kinds to emerge and b5 is a great platform to bring those authorities to market.”

Certainly works better than;

“if someone wants to throw $2 million at the most overhyped of the dozens of small-time blog networks, at least it’ll make it more fun when the company implodes.”

BTW – seems like GigaOm and TC have done fairly well also.
