Well There You Go?

Fool me once, shame on you. But fool me twice? Sometimes it’s okay to give people a second chance. But times like this make it seem like you shouldn’t.

Don Imus. Yes, the same Don Imus who said some foul things about the Rutgers Women’s Basketball team last year is being the shock jock that he must have always wanted to be. This time he’s at it with Adam “Don’t call me Pacman” Jones. From TMZ.com:

Don Imus did it again this morning, wondering aloud about the race of NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones after hearing of all the various run-ins with the law Jones has had. “What color is he?” Imus asked his co-host. After being told he was African-American, he shot back, “Well, there you go.” Do some people never learn? (TMZ)

Really? REALLY?? Are you serious? The man lost his job last year for calling the Rutgers Women’s Basketball team “Nappy Headed Hoes”. But then he got another job and this is what happened. And by the way Imus, who asks what color anyone is anymore? Did you have an NFL coloring book in front of you and needed to know what color marker to use? If so, your partner did not help you out since African-American isn’t a color. But I believe the term you might have been looking for was race. Oh wait, how bout you shouldn’t have been looking for any term. We can all make fun of Pacman in so many different ways. Why does “color” have to be involved?
