You know that this Takeover will greatly impact the franchisees. Did they have any input into any of this or is this just a demonstration of how BIG Franchising operates? All of the big franchisors have gone "International" with the hope that they can still grow their gross sales of the system and keep their stock prices up.

The price wars among the QSR franchisors continue and it looks like the franchisees who are on the bottom of the financial pyramids will bear the burden of the increased competition in the QSR Sector because of the impact of the recession on gross sales of the systems.

Will this "takeover" mean lots of blood shed in the domestic economy for franchisees who bear the risk and expense of operating the physical units that wear these two famous brand names?

Or, is this good news for franchisees?
