What is Balluche?

Balluche is a service that will create an RSS feed for any html web page. I stumbled upon this via comment on one of the past posts of A Feed Is Born. The service is one web page that has several fields to be entered in order to make the RSS Feed.

What are the fields and what data do these fields need in order to create an RSS feed?

I. The Mandatory Fields: Thes fields that you are required to fill up in order to generate the field. In other word these two fields are the absolute minimum needed to make an RSS feed.

1. The URL field: AKA Enter the full URL.
2. The Title field: AKA Title for your Feed

II. The Optional fields:

1. Beginning of content
2. End of content
3. Extract links from the content
4. OR Build items from the content
5. Control the cache duration

After filling in the field click the icon named Convert HTML to RSS!. And then it creates the RSS feed.

The service seems simple enough. A few thing do nag at me when I looked at the web page. There seems to no information about the service and who is the author. I spent some time looking at the page and found nothing it would be interesting and reassuring to know something more about Balluche.
