What SEO’s dont want you to know

I promise I wouldn’t attack SEO’s any more and having met a few and even email-chatted and spoken to a few recently I now know that not all SEO’s are evil, but as I read WebmasterWorld threads like this one here on Adsense (which is interesting in terms of the advertising discussion) I read comments like this that just make me shake my head:

“When I submitted a new site recently Y! beat the pants of both G and MSN getting it indexed, was visible within the week. G only snagged the home page for weeks, MSN beat them getting it totally indexed.”

Maybe I’m special, or maybe it’s just that I’m fortunate enough to own a small network of blogs that gives me an edge, but I know SEO’s charge for this stuff and it amazes me…I should just become a SEO and charge for it as well, but here it is: It’s never taken me more than 48 hours to be indexed by the major search engines for ANY site I’ve wanted indexed, and it’s not rocket science, and I quite often don’t even have to bother submitting the site either. I simply link from my blogs and boom: in comes the search spiders, and I don’t charge nearly enough for others to do the same across the network either….time to update and put up the advertising details for SEH :-)

Not everyone at wmw is an seo, i’d imagine he’s just some random website owner – prolly has a site selling wicker walrus baskets…
