What Susan Said (about the AlliConnect Blog)

After much blathering around the blogosphere, and several writers/podcasters coming close to Susan Getgood’s point, she steps forward and explains what was wrong with the AlliConnect Blog.
(For those who don’t follow PR/marketing blogs, a synopsis: respected corporate blogging consultant Debbie Weil e-mailed colleagues asking them to visit Glaxo Smith Klein’s new blog on weight-loss product Alli, and comment, if they felt inspired. "No need to say you know me," was the phrase that inspired the most criticism of Weil’s attempt at drumming up comments on the blog.)
Just go to Susan’s Marketing Roadmaps blog and read her insightful look at the issue behind the issue: Why wasn’t the blog getting comments?
Thank you, Susan. Clarity without posturing is a pleasure to read.
