What will happen to the Cardinals

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
This was a crucial off season for the Cards and they did a great job of holding it together. They also get an A+ for drafting Beanie Wells, because they really needed a top flight runner in their powerful offense.

The problems for the Cardinals will belong to the fact that they almost won it all and now they really believe they were that good. Hey, it is not that easy.

Hold on to Kurt Warner and pray he has another awesome year.

Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post writes about some solutions the Cardinals can apply to stay on top. He has a slew of them, so here is just a taste.

2. Work on areas of strength on both sides of the ball. Practice longer on your red zone schemes – on offense and defense. Don’t practice longer or with more contact; practice smarter. The strong points of your team must stay strong.

3. Expect people to prepare for your offense with new ideas about slowing down your attack. Have new wrinkles, new ideas, but never lose the core of what you are as an offense.

4. Expect more people (college coaches, media, friends) at your training camp. Expect more attention from the national media. Be careful not to let other coaches observe your schemes. Trust no one.
