What’s In Dale Jr.’s Future?

I have to believe that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is feeling less confident about his decision to leave DEI at this point. What with Rick Hendrick publicly stating that “there’s no room at the inn” for Earnhardt Jr. at Hendrick Motorsports. What an awesome addition he would have been to a team that’s already threatening to run away with the Nextel Cup this year.

On the other hand, it’s not like Earnhardt Jr. is going to be spending any time at the soup kitchen. The front-runner in the sweepstakes appears to be Joe Gibbs Racing. However, Gibbs has stated that Dale Jr.’s affiliation with Budweiser could be a deal-breaker because Gibbs will not bring on any type of sponsor that’s affiliated with beer.
