Hi Shannon,

I've found the coolest and most effective tool to help with the visualization process - a great vision board software called Mind Movies Creator.

It was created by Ryan Higgins to help others visualize and manifest the life of their dreams. See a video and find out why here http://www.squidoo.com/vision-board-software

A Mind Movie allows you to create a vision of what you want, together with your Favorite song… the one that makes you feel good, the one that makes you want to dance, the one that makes you smile and sing along.

It’s like a 3 minute slide show/movie of your perfect life.

I’m trying it out now.

I’m having fun making my own vision board/mind movie.

And because it’s a software, no need to cut up magazines!

Thanks.

Shannon -- how about being in my upcoming book "THE VISION BOARD" Unlock the Secret to An Extraordinary Life by Harper Collins Publishing, Collins Design, fall, 2008. Your vision board is perfect. I am right now writing and editing the last two chapters. I'm surprised we have not met before. I have used vision boards and vision statements with all of the 75 venture funded companies that I have helped launch in the areas of new media, entertainment and Internet. In fact, Mark Chasen, founder of emusic.com is including a Vision Board for his new venture. My book will be full color and 192 pages. BUT, the deadline is next week-- contact me asap -- I will try to find a phone number to call you at so we can speed this up. If your readers want more info they can look at www.ihaveavision.org where I have a small video and info on the tabs on the bottom as a preview website. I am probably best known as the consultant who created the campaign for the MISSING KIDS ON THE MILK CARTON program. You can email me at thevisionboard@aol.com. PS Let me know if maybe we can include an article or an excerpt on your blog? THANKS

I totally enjoyed doing this with you and can already see we may have to make this an annual, if not semi-annual event as we seem to be well on our way of achieving some of our vision board goals! (love that!!!)

I can see why so many people find the visual reminder so powerful!

Visions board are fantastic. They place you in a virtual environment of your own personal success. Seeing yourself at the top will help you get to the top. Success does not just happen. You have to work for it. I've worked personally with John Assaraf (he was in the secret and co-authored "The Answer") and truly believe vision boards help you recondition your mind for success. It's all mental baby. I created a vision board slide show on my ipod. It was as simple as going to google images and finding any picture I thought was relevant to my future, and relevant to my success. I whip out the ipod multiple times a day and watch the vision slide show (while of course a song from the rocky soundtrack is playing in the background). It may sound cheesy but is well worth it, especially if it pays millions in dividends in the future.

Here is the link to John's new book. It's a must read...

I also heard about the vision board from John Assaraf in The Secrets. For some reasons I prefer a binder. It looks more organized, but that's only my personal preference.

Thank you for the info on the vision board. I have heard of this working... right down to the type of guy the woman married, to her vacation home in the Caribbean, and the car that she ended up driving.

To help pursue their dreams, ladies should check out The New York Times' Women's Entrepreneurship Institute. http://www.nytimes.whsites.net/knowledgenetwork/learning/wei.html
