What’s Next For Mike Krzyzewski?

In a few hours the United States Olympic basketball team will pound Spain for the gold medal. Coached by Duke University’s Mike Krzyzewski, he has done with this team what many thought couldn’t be done – he has them playing as a team and as a great team, not one with just a bunch of spoiled superstars wanting the spotlight.
Afterwards, Krzyzewski, one of college basketball’s winningest coaches, will go back to Duke, where he has won three NCAA titles and continue to do what he does best – be one of the favorites to win another one.
But will that be all for Krzyzewski or is there more as far as his career and legacy is concerned?
Remember, a few years ago Krzyzewski almost took the bait and became the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers before he saw how much of a disaster that would have been and wisely stayed at Duke.
But will coaching some of the most talented professional players make him think twice about taking the next available NBA job, or will he be satisfied with what he accomplished at the Olympics and figure he’s best suited for the college game?

I’m sure he’ll be tempted, but I doubt he’ll go. He has a great relationship with Kobe and still decided against going to LA.
