What’s next for the Oakland Raiders?

Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden

It’s apparent that current Oakland Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin is well on his way out. So what’s next for the Raiders? Sources close to the Silver & Black Report are reporting that Kiffin could be out very soon and current Oakland defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will be named head coach.

For now, however, Kiffin is still the head coach and he has other things to deal with – like the absence of running back Justin Fargas. It’s being reported now that Fargas could miss a few weeks. Good thing the Raiders have a rookie running back by the name of Darren McFadden, who rushed for 164 yards in his last outing. But, the Fargas injury means Michael Bush should see more carries for Oakland, sparing McFadden of shouldering the full load.

This situation in Oakland is a mess. Al Davis needs to relinquish control of the team so those great fans in Oakland can really enjoy their team.
