Interesting insight to this situation. The only thing I want to challenge is that she was unstable. I don&#039;t know whether she was unstable, certainly impulsive. From my perspective, given the climate in the workplace and the lack of trust between managers and employees, it doesn&#039;t seem out of the realm of possibility that it could have been her job being posted. Her response was obviously poor, but i talk to too many people who are terminated for variouse reasons. Managers are afraid to be honest with employees and as a result there is a climate of distrust in most organizations. Marie Lupe should not have assumed anything until she has more information. How does an employee get more information from a manager who may not have any vested interest in letting an employee know they are being terminated until absolutely necessary. Those are my thoughts!
