When To Freelance Fulltime?

June 22, 2007 by Anne Wayman

webMy path to fulltime freelance writing has been anything but direct and smooth. I was reminded of this when I read fellow b5 blogger Rico Mossesgeld post called How Soon Should You Freelance Exclusively?

Rico’s really at the beginning of his career, and it looks like he’s going about it in a much more thoughtful and deliberate manner than I did. Oh, I too worked inside parts of the publishing industry, partly to gain experience, but often it was out of the need of a paycheck rather than a desire to learn more skills.

Take a look at Rico’s blog, no matter where you are in your freelance writing career. There’s good food for thought there.

Write well and often,

  1. Rico says:

I only shared my experiences because I know people could learn from them. I’m slowly realizing that the best way to avoid mistakes is to analyze the experiences of others.

Thanks for the link! :) Glad you found it helpful.
