Adam, I agree, Logano’s nothing short of spectacular and has all the potential in the world. The real question is whether or not rushing him up to the Cup level too quickly could jeopardize his future.

Yeah, I would definitely have to agree, Roc. I think Mears is a very talented driver with a ton of potential, but the fact of the matter is that he has yet to really prove himself at the Cup level, and I don’t ever see him truly contending for championships. Newman or Logano can offer that.

T.z I agree with ya on that one gibbs is the place to be and as mears I don’t think that would be the best move for gibbs I would take my chances with lagano before I would sign mears.

I’m pretty confident that Newman will wind up with Stewart Haas as well, but I don’t feel like it’s his best move. I think him going to the #20 car is the best scenario for both him and Gibbs, but that’s just me.

I think we will see Ryan go with SHR I really do. I would like to see Casey Mears go with JGR…I think Casey has the talent he just needs the encouragement that the likes of Couch Gibbs and Greg Zipadelli could give him.

While I do think Logano has great talent he is still wet behind the ears and needs to cut his teeth in a fulltime nationwide ride first.
