Where The Real Money in Poker is at

Want to know how to make money in poker?  Stop playing Texas Hold’em.  I don’t know this personally.  My claim to poker fame is I piss off poker dealers.  However, I can tell you the field in Texas Hold’em is extremely level with more and more players picking up the game and in the midst of so many knowledgable players, it’s getting harder and harder to win – and not only win but win enough to make it worth your while.

The real money is in the lesser known games like Omaha and Duece to 7 (or so I’ve heard).  Almost nobody knows how to play these games and so there is a large disparity in skill level/talent between the players that do hit the felt.  As fun as Hold’em is, if you’re in it to win money or be a professional, you might need to adjust your sights.
