“Where the Wild Things Are” Video Game

The film adaptation of the popular children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are, will be coming out tomorrow so, of course, a corresponding video game is being released for the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo DS.
The environment is sheer fantasy so it looks like this could be a very fun game. I think that the effects in the movie look pretty impressive and, from the few screenshots I’ve seen, the game’s graphics also look good.
In the game, players must assume the role of Max, the “King of All Wild Things,” as they navigate their way on a journey through the mysterious island of the Wild Things. The tasks include solving action puzzles and overcoming challenging obstacles. It sounds like a game of strategy and, since I’m a sucker for those types of games, I plan to pick up a copy.
It looks like it’s got a dark, misty quality to it so I’m sure there will be some suspenseful moments. I’m looking forward to checking it out.
