Where to Look for Freelance Writing Jobs

Freelance writing doesn’t have to be a solitary endeavor. Sure, building your career from nothing to something substantial–and lucrative–is satisfying, but there are also a host of blog networks, individual Web site owners, and companies who hire freelancers who will pay you to write for their sites. Where do you find such work? Here are just a few sources:

Note that some networks pay a set fee for each posting or article; others offer a percentage of the ad revenue generated by your writing or by the site you manage.

Another thing to keep in mind is that finding writing jobs, just like finding most any other kind of work, is easier if you have a network of fellow writers/bloggers on whom to call. Once you get that first job, you’ll be surprised how many opportunities open up for you.
