Which candidate is right for you?

If you are still trying to figure out which 2008 presidential candidate is right for you – or if you have already chosen but aren’t quite sure why – these political tests may be just the thing for you. (I took both these tests. My answers are at the bottom.)

The first one is the Pew Research Center’s Political Typology Test. It will help you figure out your political ideology from a list of 9 possibilities, such as Pro-Government Conservative, Bystander, Liberal, and Enterpriser.

The second test is GoToQuiz’s 2008 Presidential Candidate Quiz, which asks you 17 questions to determine which candidate is right for you.

According to the Political Typology Test, I’m a Liberal (that doesn’t surprise me). The helpful results page also tells me that:

• 83% of Liberals are white
• 49% have a college degree or higher
• 22% are secularists
