Why no natural PF for Team USA?

It would have helped if either Chris Bosh, Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer would be there for the FIBA Americas but injuries have forced them to withdraw from the Team. But Team USA still has the versatility to compensate for this minor problem with Amare, Tyson, Carmelo and probably Lebron sliding to the 4 spot. Tayshaun can even guard PFs who like to shoot from the perimeter.

Actually… Dwight Howard and Amare are really natural power forwards. It’s just that they had to play center for their teams in the NBA because they can. Tyson Chandler is stuck between the center and power forward spot but plays center for his New Orleans Hornets.

But yeah using Melo as a starting PF is odd indeed…
