Wiki selection

I wrote earlier about using a wiki as a management tool and now I notice (via) this timely post from Marcus over at Best Tool for the Job on how he selected a wiki.  It’s good reading for anyone who is researching wikis…there are so many out there now.

He notes that Twiki is a monster…it really is.  I played around with it for a while some time back and it’s got everything plus the kitchen sink.  More features than I knew what to do with.  Marcus’ selection criteria seemed like ‘regular person’ stuff, and he settled on PmWiki.  I haven’t tried PmWiki, but I will now…my previous wiki of choice has been PhpWiki.
