Will a Vision Board Help You?

If you are a visual person, setting goals on a piece of paper isn’t enough. Perhaps you need something you can look at every day. A vision board might be what you need.

Vision boards have been around for a long time, but got great publicity in the movie, The Secret. I even made my own at a party with some of my entrepreneurial girlfriends.

To create your own: grab some scissors, magazines, glue and a cheap frame.

  • Cut out pictures and words that relate to your goals.
  • Paste the pictures on to the paper filler from the frame. (That’s the thing that you take out when you put your own photo in.)
  • Think about each goal as you paste, and write a date when you hope to accomplish that goal. (Make sure you set a realistic time line.)
  • Once you have completed it, pop it in the frame and hang it up where you see it every day.

Has a vision board helped you? Let me know!
