Evri, a startup company that aims to help internet surfers discover web content, has named Will Hunsinger as its new CEO. Hunsinger replaces Neil Roseman, who was Evri’s CEO since 2007.
Headquartered in Seattle, Evri uses innovative technology to help understand web content and better connect similar content. Paul Allen, formerly of Microsoft, helped fund this startup.
“We are very excited to welcome Will Hunsinger to join this great team as CEO,” said Allen. “Will’s experience in marketing and business development will help us take our great products to the next level, showing consumers the power of Evri and building more partnerships with the Web’s leading information sources.”
Hunsinger will work with Roseman as he transitions to the top spot in the company.
“I quickly recognized Evri’s potential to redefine how consumers discover, interact with, and share Web content,” said Hunsinger. “Evri has a clear technology lead in the field of semantic, natural language understanding of Web content and has proven it can apply this technology to build great products that operate at Web scale.”
