Will the Apple Cube spark a holy war?

The entire Apple community raised its eyebrows (all at the same time) when some random website incited a comment that the Apple Cube store looks like the House of Abraham.
TUAW says it all with this opinion:
I’m speechless. But, as you know, that rarely stops me from speaking anyway. I’m hesitant to get into this territory for obvious reasons and I truly mean no disrespect to anyone, but… you and I both know that the design of the 5th Ave store has absolutely nothing to do with Islam, Muslims, Mecca, Abraham, the Kaabah or any religious icon, affiliation or idol whatsoever. It has everything to do with Steve Jobs’ affinity (fetish?) for the design of the Power Mac G4 Cube
Though I truly believe in religious sensitivity, isn’t this taking it a bit too far? What next? Star Trek fans saying that the Apple store is a patent infringment of the Borg Cube?

If anything it should open people’s eyes to the yellow journalism over at MEMRI.
Did you even read the Apple Gazette link? There was no offense, there was no protest – the entire ’source’ for the suppoud offense was an uncited website.
Please stop spreading these lies.
The Muslim community has responded: “We love the Apple Cube!“
