Well, the number three seed, Justine Henin-Hardenne beat France’s Severine Bremond 6-4, 6-4. The French player gave Henin-Hardenne an unexpected challenge and held her own against French Open winner. Unfortunately for Bremond, it wasn’t enough to secure a victory.

Henin-Hardenne wasn’t at her sharpest, though. She said, “I wasn’t feeling very well at the beginning of the match,” and it was evident in the number of unforced errors she made.

But, she’s on to the semi-finals to meet up with … well, I guess we’ll find later today!
