Win Big With “Prototype” and GameStop!

The new Alex Mercer game, Prototype, comes out on June 9, 2009 but you still have time to pre-order it through GameStop and get the exclusive Critical Hints Map and the one-of-a-kind Alex Mercer figurine! If you’ve heard anything about the game, you will know that having the map would be a very good thing since it will provide you with clues about Alex’s incredible shape-shifting and consumption abilities.
In the game, Alex is the Prototype but he’s hiding in human form. It becomes very clear, however, through the demonstration of his limitless power, that he is definitely not a regular human being. As a horrible virus spreads through Manhattan, Alex must solve the mystery of how he came to possess his powers while uncovering a conspiracy that has been 40 years in the making.
To further celebrate the release of Prototype, we are hosting a giveaway and the prizes are excellent! You could win one of the following:
- One of two $200 GameStop gift cards
- One of five copies of Prototype for Xbox 360 with GameStop exclusive Critical Hints Map
To enter the contest, visit the GameStop site and watch this video. Find the code 65579 which has been hidden at 4 different points. Once you have found all four spots, email me and describe where the codes are hidden. I will draw several random winners and notify them by email.
The game, itself, looks really cool (read my post about it from last week) so either one of those prizes would be pretty awesome! The contest is open to U.S. residents only and closes on June 8, 2009 at 11:59 PT. Good luck!

The map provides clues spread across the map of New York City that help explain why Alex has such amazing shape-shifting and consumption abilities. Utilizing the information in these hints will give players a crash course into Alex’s background.
