Windows 7 is a Matter of Perception

December 31, 2008 by Milo Riano

I have previously written about Windows 7 being Windows Vista SP4 (article here) and Microsoft just offering a free upgrade for Windows Vista Ultimate users. Basically, I feel Windows 7 is Vista hardcore with added features.

I would share Eric Krangels’ article that Windows 7 is not a game changing OS either.

As he have written: The first advance reviews of Microsoft (MSFT) Windows 7 Beta are starting to circulate, and here’s what we know so far: It looks and feels a lot like Vista, but adds a handful of minor performance and UI improvements.

Microsoft Windows 7 is a perception operating system to give consumers a new OS and encourage them to upgrade from Windows XP.
