Windows 7 out Next Year

Windows 7 is going to be released next year as announced by Bill Gates: “Sometime in the next year or so we will have a new version.”
This remains to be seen as most analysts say that Microsoft would most likely release Windows 7 in 2010 or 2011. I am not sure why Microsoft is making these announcements especially when this could only mean a decline of Windows Vista upgrades and just wait for Windows 7.
Well… Gates never said it will be Windows 7 out in 2009 and neither it will be for the public… Maybe there´s so much speculation about dates and it´s another one.
