Windows Live Writer Gripe

I found a drawback of using Windows Live Writer for all my blog posting. It doesn’t allow me to manage and use images that have already been uploaded to my site. It would be nice if stored little thumbnails of the images that are already loaded onto the server.
I think this is one area that even WordPress could really improve upon in their interface. Tabbed through lists of only 5-6 images at a time gets really hold. At least being able to do a simple text search for the photo name would be great.
My other gripe – you cannot retrieve post by IDs – imagine if you have to edit an year old blog post inside WLW – virtually impossible.
