Windows Vista Patch Released

Microsoft Bulletin reports that 11 of the 20 patches are critical which is the highest Microsoft security rating.

The update includes fixes for malware scanning engine which is the most important fix for the patch since it prevents a hacker from taking control of your pc.

Other fixes include IE, Ms Word, Excel and Office.

Do not forget to update your Windows Vista using one of three options:

Ms Update Service.

Windows Server Update Services.

Software Update Services.

    I was totally looking forward to the hype about Vista but it really is just a big memory eater, like constant interruptions for unecessary security messages as one example. I know you can adjust the controls so all these slow downs don’t deactivate but what a disappointment. Why doesn’t microsoft let Vista users know about these through their updates? It takes a consumer to notify people….thanks by the way. At least now you have one opinion ;-)
