Windows Vista screenshot: Vista stack view

Vista stack view

Another Windows Vista screenshot, this time of stacked thumbnails at a slight angle, with the now familiar grass theme in the background. The Aero Glass feature is also clearly visible. To me this is a confused and untidy presentation which I’m sure Microsoft will remedy before final release.

The feature is called Flip 3d and you can get a good view of it in use in this interview at Channel 9 with the Vista UI program manager.

I’m a big fan of big previews of the program window that I’m going to switch to as a compliment to alt-tab.

In xp, I use a tool called taskswitchxp which lets me see them.

    Thanks, Jon. Useful info.
