Windows Vista SP1

It is reported on WinBeta that July 29 would be the date for the release of Windows Vista SP1 beta. This is earlier than what was previously believed, that is later this year. If this happens, the full version of the SP1 release would most likely be in November.
It is not clear whether the Anti-trust ruling in favor of Google which allows the operating system to add other search engines has anything to do with the earlier release; I seriously doubt that though. If Microsoft is releasing the SP1 earlier, it is because of the need as demanded by consumers and not from their competitor named G.

I agree with Jack. I have to say, I went and got a copy of Vista and it’s pure JUNK. Apple Mac all the way. (I would not even install it on a mac)
Just another case of Microsoft TRYING to copy Apple’s idea’s again.

Vista is the best OS I have ever used!
