Microsoft is working hard to release their second service pack in Windows Vista and the current version, Windows Vista SP2 RC Build 6002.16670.090130-1715 v.286, is said to be given to a number of select users to do the testing.
Webtlk however can point you to the direction of getting a copy of the SP2 RC build. In their post:
A few days ago I wrote about the release of a special Windows Vista SP2 version to a small, selected number of testers. The package was released via Microsoft Connect and Windows Update and had got build version 6002.16670.090130- 1715, compiled on January 30, 2009. Just in case you are curious about this almost-definitive SP2 and you want to give it a try, here are the Bittorent links to download it. Useless to say, as soon as the Service Pack was released, somebody leaked it right away!
Service Pack RC KB948465 Build 6002.16670.090130-1715 v.286 is for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. To install it you need to have the SP1 already installed in your machine.

Why would anyone (legal) torrent this when they download it straight from Microsoft and have been able to since December!!! Just go to microsoft.com and do a search for KB948465 and the download is presented. There are even updates for it on Windows Update.
