Windows Vista & Windows 7 Dual Boot

March 18, 2009 by Milo Riano

I just installed Windows 7 on my Lenovo S10 netbook which already have Windows Vista installed on it.

How do you dual-boot Windows Vista & Windows 7?

The rule on dual/multi-booting operating systems is simple.

1. Install on separate partitions or hard drives
2. Install the older operating system followed by the new operating system
3. Operating system should be on the same platform (32-bit or 64-bit). This shouldn’t be a problem as the operating system should prompt an error.

The same principle I used to install Windows Vista and Windows 7 on Lenovo S10.
